5. 17 Oct 06 Confrontation A rape victim loses her life while confronting her attacker, who assaulted her two separate times. The case leads Stabler and Dani to discover more victims of the same rapist, whom Huang pegs as an “alpha male.” Also, one of the young men who killed Dani's husband dies, and the other murderer tries to contact her from prison.

The trouble is that Benson, who's still in Oregon posing undercover as ecoterrorist Persephone James, has her own legal woes to deal with after a cocky deputy assaults her and she's questioned by a sheriff about a pharmaceutical employee's murder. 7. 14 Nov 06 Underbelly A 14-year-old girl who was brutally beaten, raped and killed shares the same dog-paw tattoo as two other young female homicide victims. Despite warnings from Stabler, Dani (Connie Nielsen) becomes overly involved in the case.
8. 21 Nov 06 Cage While searching for the woman responsible for handcuffing two traumatized adolescents in the back of a van, the detectives turn up evidence that leads them to suspect that many foster children are being put in danger. Also, Dani makes a decision about her future with the Special Victims Unit.
9. 28 Nov 06 Choreographed Stabler becomes involved in a murder case that leads to revelations of infidelity and obsession among a group of friends, one of whom is the victim's husband (Chris Sarandon). Also, Stabler learns that Benson is back in town and asks for her help in the investigation.
10. 2 Jan 07 Scheherezade Stabler agrees to hear the dying confession of a cancer patient named Judson Tierney (Brian Dennehy), but first he and Benson do some digging into what possible crime Tierney's guilty of and come up with an unsolved case that goes back 47 years. However, according to Tierney, that is merely the “tip of the iceberg.”
11. 9 Jan 07 Burned Stabler and Benson are at odds over whom to believe in a “he said, she said” rape case involving a husband and wife (Blair Underwood, Michael Michele) in the middle of an extremely bitter child-custody dispute. Tessa: Tiffany Evans.
12. 16 Jan 07 Outsider Fin looks into an alleged rape at the college where his son, Ken, works. Fin is joined in his investigation by a Brooklyn SVU detective named Chester Lake (Adam Beach), who is working a strikingly similar case. Kal Penn. Ken Randall: Ernest Waddell.
13. 6 Feb 07 Loophole An anonymous letter leads to a child-pornography case, which puts stress on Olivia, who develops medical symptoms similar to those exhibited by the victim and his mother
14. 13 Feb 07 Dependent After a mob lawyer (Cary Elwes) is attacked and his wife brutally murdered, Benson and Stabler question their daughter. But her wild night of drunken partying leaves her unable to recall her actions, even though her father insists she was at the scene of the crime. Also, Stabler is charged with excessive force.
15. 20 Feb 07 Haystack After a woman (Ashley Williams) is accused by an overzealous reporter of staging the kidnapping of her own child, she commits suicide, leaving detectives with few leads in the search for the baby. The case is emotionally draining for Stabler, who is drawn in by the despondent mother's past. Kali Rocha.
16. 27 Feb 07 Philadelphia When Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay) investigates a rape case outside her jurisdiction, she finds herself being questioned by local Police Captain Julia Millfield (guest star Kim Delaney, “NYPD Blue”) and although she gets some answers, some are difficult to accept. Benson also needs to discuss with police psychologist Dr. Rebecca Hendrix (guest star Mary Stuart Masterson, “Benny & Joon”) about some of her actions that have led to tensions with Detective Stabler (Chris Meloni) and major distractions that have marred the rape case.
17. 27 Mar 07 Sin Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) pay a visit to The New Souls Church, where Reverend Jeb Curtis, his wife Hannah (guest star Kathy Baker) and their remaining nine children are mourning the death of a military son in Afghanistan. They seem like a loving family from the outside, but things are not what they seem. Hannah provides the detectives with a taped conversation of the Reverend that leads the SVU to come after a different suspect.
18. 03 Apr 07 Responsible An honor student dies at a party, while the primary suspect is their alcohol supplier, the four honors students who threw the party - are arrested for criminally negligent homicide, but get a slap on the wrist from Judge Donnelly (guest star Judith Light). Det. Stabler enlists his own teenage daughter Kathleen (Allison Siko) to guide him through the world of teenage cyberspace to find out where the next party is taking place. The website leads to the home of one of the students, where they find the mother of one of the kids -- Lillian Rice (guest star Laura Leighton) in a compromising position, and she is arrested. The arrest and entire cyberspace scenario hits a personal nerve with Stabler.
19. 01 May 07 Florida Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is called upon to help in an investigation regarding her brother Simon Marsden (guest star Michael Weston). She finds herself caught in the investigation of her brother between Police Captain Julia Millfield (guest star Kim Delaney) and FBI Agent Porter (guest star Vincent Spano). Benson believes her brother is innocent, but this case is starting to threaten her career, as she digs deeper into the case she uncovers family secrets. Chris Meloni, Dann Florek, Diane Neal, Richard Belzer, Ice-T, B.D. Wong, and Tamara Tunie also star.
20. 08 May 07 Annihilated When Dets. Stabler (Chris Meloni) and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) speak to the girls grief-stricken parents they discover her fiancée, a CIA agent named Stephen Dashiell (guest star Dylan Walsh), had been threatened by terrorists -- they believe this may have been a professional hit. Their difficult search for Dashiell leads them to a perfect suburban family - and then a tragedy - one that pushes Stabler to face new truths about his own family. Dann Florek, Richard Belzer, Diane Neal, B.D. Wong, and Tamara Tunie also star.
21. 15 May 07 Pretend A teenage boy is killed in what appears to be a play fight with his best friend, is a victim of a not so innocent crime. The victim's best friend Scott Heston (guest star Michael Welch) turns up at the squad room with a video and claims he filmed the death. Dets. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) quickly figure out that there is more than meets the eye when the victim's alleged girlfriend arrives at the court to reveal a new twist to this case. Dann Florek, Richard Belzer, Diane Neal, B.D. Wong, and Tamara Tunie also star.
22. 22 May 07 Screwed (Season Finale) Darius Parker (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) continues to cause problems for Tutuola when he returns to face trial for murder and hires an ex-cop as his lawyer. Also, Det. Chester Lake (Adam Beach) joins the SVU staff. Guest stars include Star Jones Reynolds, Steven Weber, Ernest Waddell, Vincent Spano, Judith Light and Michael Weston.
