Season One

  1. The Comeback
In an attempt to land a role in a new sitcom called Room and Bored, Hollywood actress Valerie Cherish (Lisa Kudrow) agrees to allow reality cameras to follow her comings and goings at home and on the set. Although she wins the part (competing against the likes of Marilu Henner and Kim Fields), Valerie must swallow her pride when the producers recast her as "Aunt Sassy," frumpy owner of the apartment shared by the four young leads.

  2. Valerie Triumphs at the Upfronts
Valerie, Mickey and the cast of Room and Bored are flown in to NYC to be introduced to the media at the network's Upfronts. In the Big Apple, Valerie gets stiffed on a perk, misses out on a meal, frets about her stepdaughter Franchesca's dinner guests back in LA, and fears the worst as the network prez intros the cast.

  3. Valerie Bonds With the Cast
After a table read for "the first official episode," Valerie invites her co-stars to a "bonding lunch," but Juna doesn't show up. The two make up later with a one-on-one lunch, where Valerie learns why Juna is such a paparazzi favorite. At home, Valerie is touched when Franchesca appears to reach out to her at long last.

  4. Valerie Stands Up for Aunt Sassy
Concerned that Paulie G. has written an unflattering line that will turn audiences against her character, Valerie enlists a new writer, Gigi, to help pitch a less-offensive one. Meanwhile, Valerie rethinks her impulsive decision to adopt a puppy

  5. Valerie Demands Dignity
Valerie planea un almuerzo con un editor de TV GUIDE, y el canal ordena una renovación para su "reality show". Entretanto, Mark se queja por la falta de privacidad en su vida doméstica. Mark: Damian Young. Valerie: Lisa Kudrow.

  6. Valerie Saves the Show
With the cast in a funk following Room and Bored's lackluster premiere, Valerie tries to boost morale with a late-night cookie delivery that gives new meaning to her trademark line, "I don't want to see that!" Mickey accuses Valerie of sharing details about his private life with Juna, and Valerie tries to persuade Shayne to see her reality show in a different "light."

  7. Valerie Gets a Very Special Episode
Excited about a Room and Bored episode dedicated to her character, Valerie offers to pull some strings to get a "name" actor to play Aunt Sassy's romantic interest, Big Dick Perkins. And while the casting directors have their own ideas for Sassy's match - Jerry Stiller, Wallace Shawn - Valerie is determined to get her 'good friend' Tom Selleck in the role.

  8. Valerie Relaxes in Palm Springs
With Room and in the midst of its network "re-tooling," Valerie and Mark head to Palm Springs for a relaxing weekend - complete with camera crew, cell phones, and a press rep from Lincoln Navigator in tow (they gave the couple a free SUV).

  9. Valerie Hangs With the Cool Kids
Now that the network has re-tooled Room and Bored, the cast is back at work - but not without some big adjustments. Tom and Paulie G. have brought in two new actors, ultimately sending Chris and Jesse to the sidelines. Back at home, Mark's daughter Francesca is shaking things up with her precocious new friend Kalla, who asks Valerie to take them to Juna's CD signing and "hook her up" with Chris.

  10. Valerie Gets a Magazine Cover
As Valerie prepares for the press launch of her reality show, she turns her focus towards getting in shape, starting with her old treadmill. This comes as a surprise to Mark, who inadvertently steps on the moving track and winds up in the emergency room - with a hand full of broken fingers.

  11. Valerie Stands Out On The Red Carpet
When Room and Bored is nominated for a People's Choice Award, Valerie is beside herself. "I'm not one of those stars who pretends that dressing up and walking the red carpet is a big pain in my you-know-what" she tells her reality crew.

  12. Valerie Shines Under Stress
Valerie is excited for the unveiling of her reality show - so excited, in fact, that she's picked out her own theme song, "I will survive," and barely flinches when she comes upon the promotional poster.

  13. Valerie Does Another Classic Leno
When Valerie hosts a big party for the debut of "The Comeback," Jane is suspiciously absent. We soon discover why: the reality footage has been edited into a montage of embarrassing moments, from Mickey's surreptitious glances at Jesse's body to Valerie screaming at Francesca to her cupcake-clad slugging of Paulie G. - followed by their humiliating "double-vomit."
