In the series premiere, Steve (Jay Harrington) wants to date Susan (Rena
Sofer) but can't seem to shake his clingy ex-girlfriend Jane (Lindsay Price)
who refuses to be dumped by him. Meanwhile, Susan's attractive best friend
Sally (Sonya Walger), now desperate for a man, accepts a date with Susan's
former flame Patrick (Colin Ferguson), the cocky, good-looking guy of the
group. In addition, aware of his best friend Steve's crush on Susan, Jeff
(Christopher Moynihan) pleads with coworker Susan keep their forgettable fling
a secret.
