Season One

  1. June 28, 2004: Pilot:
    An 18-year-old girl (Ellen Muth), who has been killed by falling space debris, is recruited to be a grim reaper, an undead being charged with claiming souls from dying people.
     
  2. July 4, 2004: Dead Girl Walking:
    George tries to spare the life of the person who created a popular exercise device.
     
  3. July 11, 2004: Curious George:
    Against Rube's orders, George returns home and has an unsettling encounter with her mother; also, Reggie continues to have trouble dealing with George's death.
     
  4. July 18, 2004: Reapercussions:
    George gets a new roommate, a grim reaper named Daisy Adair.
     
  5. July 25, 2004: Reaping Havoc:
    One of George's undead friends decides to leap to the other side.
     
  6. August 1, 2004: My Room:
    George gets a new roommate (Laura Harris), a 1930s ingenue whose death during the filming of Gone with the Wind caused quite the scandal. In other events, George is recruited to play on the company bowling team and Reggie erects a toilet-seat tree as a memorial to her sister.
     
  7. August 8, 2004: Reaper Madness:
    A cancelled assignment leads to George getting involved with the soul she was supposed to harvest, that of a cute young schizophrenic (Tygh Runyan) who claims he can see the gravelings. Also: George must mentor a new employee (Tegan Moss) at Happy Time.
     
  8. August 15, 2004: A Cook:
    When the recently deceased short-order cook (John Kapelos) at the waffle house refuses to pass over, Rube takes his job; George picks up a pet golden retriever whose previous owner was one of George's reaper assignments.
     
  9. August 22, 2004: Sunday Mornings:
    George learns something surprising about her dad (Greg Kean); and Mason rescues an attractive college student (A.J. Cook) from a date rape. Also: Roxy performs a temporary soul extraction on an abusive man (Kevin Durand), who then turns into a passive religious zealot.
     
  10. August 29, 2004: Business Unfinished:
    The reapers hold a seance for a wealthy society matron (Susan Sullivan) who refuses to pass over until she gets even with her son (Haig Sutherland). Also, on the anniversary of her death 21 years ago, Roxy is still trying come to terms with the manner in which she died.
     
  11. September 5, 2004: The Bicycle Thief:
    A need for more cash has George tackling a new job and garnering a going-away party from her Happy Time co-workers; Reggie and family search for their lost dog.
     
  12. September 12, 2004: Nighthawks:
    Unable to sleep, the reapers put in a long, late night on the job while George watches for a death at her house.
     
  13. September 19, 2004: Vacation:
    With the gravelings taking the day off and no one dying, the Reapers take a break and catch up on some much-overdue paperwork.
     
  14. September 26, 2004: Rest in Peace:
    On what is supposed to be George's "special" day, she accompanies Dolores to the vet when her cat takes ill; and Rube reaps a yoga instructor. Also, Mason hopes to end a 15-month long sexual drought with help from Daisy

Season Two

  1. Send in the Clown
    At her day job, George gets to train the boss's cute, but dumb, nephew, while Mason dresses as a clown to reap a soul at a kid's birthday party.
     
  2. The Ledger
    George figures that with all the bad luck she had while she was alive, things might even out in the afterlife. But death isn't like that.
     
  3. Ghost Story
    In an attempt to bond with her co-workers, George goes on the annual Happy Time retreat, but she can't escape her duties as a grim reaper.
     
  4. The Shallow End
    George reflects back on her childhood and decides that the secret to popularity is being mean to people.
     
  5. Hurry
    Deadlines loom large as the reapers snatch some hurried souls and George helps Delores impress an efficiency expert studying Happy Time's operations.
     
  6. In Escrow
    George faces her first big decision at Happy Time, and Joy looks forward to a new life after accepting an offer on the family home.
     
  7. Rites of Passage
    George experiences the power of celebrity death when she plucks the soul of a rock star.
     
  8. The Escape Artist
    George nearly falls for a reap, while Reggie makes friends with a young reaper.
     
  9. Be Still My Heart
    George reunites with her new love at his father’s funeral.
     
  10. Death Defying
    After losing her virginity to Trip, George sours on love when he doesn't call.
     
  11. Ashes to Ashes
    When George tries to pass herself off as the relative of a homeless man, she finds herself more involved in his death than she planned.
     
  12. Forget Me Not
    Ray and Mason fight for Daisy's affection; George must convince an elderly woman of her death.
     
  13. Last Call
    Mason and Daisy are trying to get their stories straight after Ray's death when Mason receives a purple post-it, making him think it's his final reap and that he'll be moving on soon. Meanwhile Roxy investigates Ray's disappearance, showing up at Daisy's house asking questions. Also George attends yet another going away party at Happy Time and while Reggie is staying at the house alone, JD gets out of the yard, is hit by a car and dies. In the end, George leaves Reggie her frog and Mason finds out that the purple post-it meant nothing other than that Rube couldn't get the standard yellow ones.
     
  14. Always
    George finds out her mother has been to see Delores when the former asks her to bring Georgia's file. Rube goes to see his daughter after receiving upsetting news from Penny. Ray continues to cause problems, even after his death, and Mason runs into a bit of trouble with Kiffany.
     
  15. Haunted
    It's Halloween and reaper legend has that the the reapers can be seen as they were when alive; a serial killer stalks a neighbourhood, the reapers collecting his victims as he goes, George getting the bad guy; Joy and Reggie pay a late night visit to George's grave. So does George.
