Season One

Stephanie and the Wolves (Original US Airdate: 13 Sept 1995 )
Stephanie Wells, and husband, Mark Merrill, move to New York to run magazine, Communiqué. Immediately Stephanie locks horns with Carrie Fairchild, who is the owners step daughter, and who takes a liking to Mark. Gil Chase is having problems with an ex, Deanne, and meanwhile, Peter is sucked into thinking he has met the right girl, who is really an undercover reporter.

Chess Moves (Original US Airdate: 20 Sept 1995 )
Stephanie pulls some strings and makes sure Carrie loses her column at the magazine, which doesn't sit well with Carrie, who decides to go after Mark. Peter's "girlfriend" comes clean as her column on Peter goes on sale. Linda Fairchild thinks Allen is is cheating on her. And Deanne proves to Gil she can play dirty.

The Best, False Friend (Original US Airdate: 27 Sept 1995)
Rachel Dennis, an old friend of Carrie's starts to work for the magazine as Fashion Editor. Deanne loots Gil's files as he kicks her out of his home. Nikki Sheridan could be in danger when Allen Rush sets his sights on her at her gallery. Peter meanwhile settles a score with Alex.

Days of the Thunder (Original US Airdate: 8 Oct 1995 )
Carrie sets her sights on producing Mark's play when the play's staged reading is a hit at the Hamptons. She is also secretly happy Marks wife, Stephanie did not attend the reading. Rachel stands Gil up for the play reading, and goes on a date with Peter, causing friction between Peter and Alex.

Plots (Original US Airdate: 11 Oct 1995 )
Stephanie suspects Carrie of being the newly discovered magazine "leak", and tried to make Allen realise Carrie is the leak. Allen gets violent when Nikki turns him down for a date. Carrie is crushed and bitter when she is not chosen to produce Mark's play. Gil pursues Rachel, when Peter leaves the party with Alex.

Lunar Eclipse (Original US Airdate: 18 Oct 1995 )
Carrie is exposed as the magazine leak. Allen leaves his wife, Linda. Ian tells Stephanie to keep Mark in line. Rachel, meanwhile wants Peter to help her get a visa to stay in the country. After a fight with Stephanie Marks jumps into bed with Carrie. Linda meanwhile asks Nikki to perform a dodgy art deal with a Renoir.

If I Would Amount To (Original US Airdate: 1 Nov 1995 )
Gil exposes Stephanie's private bank account to Mark. Alex works out what Rachel is up to, annoying Peter, but delighting Carrie, who decides to blackmail Rachel.

With the Weapons of a Mrs. (Original US Airdate: 8 Nov 1995)
The Renoir buyer threatens Nikki. Someone else at the magazine admits to being the leak, and Carrie has to be re-hired. Rachel schemes, when she finds out Carrie has a surprise birthday party for Peter, she keeps Peter away so he never knows about the party. Mark feels guilty for his affair and forgives his wife's mistakes.

The History of Gil and Rachel  (Original US Airdate: 15 Nov 1995)
Gil tells Peter all about Rachel. Rachel catches Mark and Carrie in a clinch. Nikki and Peter sleep together due to a hatred for Allen Rush, but Peter has a show down with Allen the next day. Allen then goes to Alex with a juicy story all about Peter. Rachel freaks out at Gil.

Before season Two, the show went on a 6 month hiatus. It returned with a more "Soap" feel, focusing on families more, and had a big cast reshuffle.

All this strikes Back (Original US Airdate: May 1996 )
Carrie breaks off her affair with Mark, who is continuing his new book. Alex also breaks up with Peter after finding out he cheated on her. Rachel then reveals to Carrie she knew about her affair with Mark. Rachel tells Allen that Stephanie has hired Mark to do a story for Communiqué, Rachel then takes the step and moves in with Gil. Linda discovers Allen's affair with Nikki and leaves him. Alex see's what is going on and starts a story on the Nikki/ Linda/ Allen affair. Stephanie thinks Mark's new story is awful.

Behind your Back (Original US Airdate: May 1996 )
Stephanie finds out about Marks affair, thanks to Carrie. Stephanie goes to rehab and leaves Communiqué in Rachel's hands. Peter meets a new girl in class and haves a date with her. He finds out that she's a stripper, but doesn't care that much. Alex wants Peter back, but finds out that he's with Robyn (The stripper).

Showgirls (Original US Airdate: May 1996 )
Alex finds out Robin's little secret; she's a stripper and blackmails her. Rachel plans a fashion issue and badmouths Stephanie in front of the press. Nikki helps a new artist, Gabe, who she seems to fancy. Mark wants Stephanie back and wants her to hear the part where he breaks up with Carrie on the tape. Carrie fights for the tape and Mark shoves her. Carrie calls the police and claims that Mark beat her up and Mark is arrested.

You Only One Summer (Original US Airdate: June 1996 )
Allen bails Mark out and bribes Carrie to drop the charges against him. Oh, and Stephanie is back, with revenge in mind! She fires Rachel and pulls her issue. Allen, however, likes the "all" fashion issue and will release it as a side-paper to Communiqué. In revenge of that, Stephanie makes the cover of the new Communiqué read: "FASHION SUCKS!". Despite on being on the top again, Stephanie decides to leave while she's having fun and takes Mark with her. Adam Brock comes to town and wants to buy up Rush media and gives an offer of 20 million $ for Linda's 3% in the company. Nikki and Gabe heat up and she finds 3 guns in his closet and demands an explanation. He says that it's for protection, but as it turns out, Allen has hired him to kill Nikki. Alex tells Peter that she's pregnant and then goes to Linda. Linda tells Peter that he have to marry Alex! However, as it turns out, Alex is blackmailing a doctor to give her an insemination.

Hour of the Devil (Original US Airdate: 5 June 1996 )
Another publishing tycoon, Adam Brock, arrives. Adam and Allen clash over ownership of "Communiqué." Brock Media wins "Communiqué."

Danced To (Original US Airdate: 7 June 1996 )
Allen catches his wife and Adam in a compromising position on film. Carrie tries to get Jordan to tell her who the missing member of the Brock clan is. Peter connects with Robin on the eve of his wedding to Alex. Peter and Alex's wedding becomes a media circus. Linda moves in with Carrie. Jordan and Adam fight over his treatment of her

Public Execution (Original US Airdate: 12 June 1996)
Adam's ex-wife, Diana, arrives, causing him and "Communiqué" strife. The reception Diana gets from her daughter is very chilly. Gil finds that Jordan is a kindred spirit, forcing Rachel to admit her feelings for him. The Rushes and Brocks clash at a party celebrating Peter and Alex's wedding. Peter's misbehavior leads to possible tragedy.

End of a Marriage (Original US Airdate: 14 June 1996 )
Mark returns to pitch a book to Jordan and grind an ax with Carrie; Carrie warns Jordan about Mark and Adam about Linda. Diana gains control over Adam and Allen. Gil makes a career move. Alex's lies are exposed. Diana is elected to the board of directors of her ex-husband's company, Rush Media.

On Bail Freely (Original US Airdate: 19 June 1996 )
Linda sells her soul to get bail money for Peter. Carrie realizes that the victim in Mark's new thriller is based on her. Diana decides to stay close to Adam. Allen has to destroy the Fairchild's to keep Peter out of jail. Diana proves a good asset in the boardroom. Mark dishes biased dirt on Carrie to Jordan. Carrie is the target of Mark's rage.

Everything has its Price (Original US Airdate: 21 June 1996)
Tyler comes to New York at Diana's behest for a reunion with Adam. Mark cruelly taunts Carrie to the point of breakdown. Linda's shares in Rush Media interest many. Allen and Diana scheme to kill Adam's software deal. Tyler's jealous is an asset to Rachel. Jordan decides to disregard Carrie's suspicions about Mark. The Fairchild-Rush divorce commences.

Sea Virgins to Strike Better (Original US Airdate: 26 June 1996)
Linda gets a letter from Peter and loses everything in the process. Tyler gets info for Diana and Allen about Adam's software deal. Allen intends to gain control of Rush Media. Mark continues to taunt Carrie after she's committed. Rachel and Tyler, Diana and Allen, and Jordan and Mark each hold liaisons.

You Belong to Me! (Original US Airdate: 28 June 1996)
Carrie goes to the family mansion in Hampton to get Mark, but he manages to tie Carrie up. Jordan gets suspicious and reads Marks book and calls the police, Mark shoots himself in the breast. Diana and Linda fight over their men. Gil's future goes south. Tyler votes at the Rush Media stockholders' meeting, benefiting Diana; Linda and Brock feel the heat after they lose control of the media empire. (This was the final episode of Central Park West)
