About The Show
Emmy nominee Matt LeBlanc reprises his Friends role as charming Joey Tribbiani in this comedy spin-off that continues the beloved Friends tradition. Joey, an aspiring actor, is off to Los Angeles to pursue his dream and begin a new chapter in his life. In this new town he’s sure to face new challenges, both professional and personal. After reuniting with his sister, Gina, Joey moves in with his 20-year-old genius nephew, Michael, who is literally a rocket scientist. What Joey lacks in book smarts, however, he makes up for with people smarts, making him the best new friend his nephew could ask for. Season One

  1. Pilot
    Charming and single Joey Tribbiani (series star MATT LeBLANC) goes off on his own and moves from New York City to Hollywood, hoping to truly make it as an actor. Joey says good-bye to a time when his friends were his family and welcomes the chance to turn his family into his friends.
    After accidentally ending up in Dallas instead of taking a connecting flight to California, Joey finally arrives in Los Angeles and reunites with his high-strung sister Gina (series star DREA DE MATTEO), a strong and sexy hairdresser. While Gina shows Joey the apartment she arranged for him, her genius 20-year-old son, graduate student Michael (series star PAULO COSTANZO), who literally is a rocket scientist, arrives. Although Joey lacks book smarts, he more than compensates with his people skills, making him the best new friend his nephew could ask for.
    Meanwhile, Joey finds out from his flamboyant agent, Bobbie (recurring guest star JENNIFER COOLIDGE), that the cop show he was starring in has been cancelled, forcing him to begin auditioning for parts again.
    When Michael asks to move in with Joey because it's difficult living with overprotective Gina, Joey is afraid to confront his sister--until he learns what a great cook Michael is. Gina is furious to find out that Michael wants to move out of her place, but Joey persuades her that Michael needs to change his life, just like Joey did. She reluctantly allows Michael to move in with Joey.
     
  2. Joey and the Student
    Michael (Paulo Costanzo) moves into Joey's (Matt LeBlanc) apartment to seek his independence from his mother Gina (Drea de Matteo). Joey decides to take his nephew Michael out on the town to teach him how to meet women. Meanwhile, Michael and Joey learn all is not as it seems with his attractive neighbor, Alex (Andrea Anders).
     
  3. Joey and the Party
    Having trouble meeting people in L.A., Joey throws a party to get to know some of his neighbors. The one he'd like to get to know, Jake, is more interested in Gina. Alex pretends to be Michael's girlfriend so that he can one-up his friend.
     
  4. Joey and the Book Club
    Joey joins Michael's book club to meet pretty women. Michael is crazy about a girl in the book club, who's only interested in Joey. Looking to get her work noticed, Gina bargains with Alex.
     
  5. Joey and the Nemesis
    In this episode, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) meets his acting nemesis, Brian Michael David Scott (guest star, Michael Landes). Brian Michael is relentless in making a fool out of Joey at all of his auditions. At home, much to Michael's (Paulo Costanzo) dismay, his overbearing mother Gina (Drea de Matteo) finds out that he is sick and gets excited that she will get to take care of him. Joey decides to stay at Gina's house while Michael is sick and mistakenly meets Gina's boyfriend.
     
  6. Joey and the Husband
    Gina (Drea de Matteo) struggles with nepotism at the salon when her boss hires his untalented daughter to take many of Gina's regular clients. After hearing how unhappy Gina is at work, Joey (Matt Le Blanc) and Michael (Paulo Costanzo) plan to make Gina happy by helping her open a salon of her own. Meanwhile, much to Joey's dismay, Alex's (Andrea Anders) husband Eric (Matt Letscher, "Good Morning Miami") finally returns home.
     
  7. Joey and the Dream Girl (Part 1)
    Joey (Matt Le Blanc) gets excited when his high school crush Donna (guest star Kelly Preston) decides to visit Gina (Drea de Matteo) for the weekend. When Joey finds out that Donna is getting divorced he thinks he has a chance with her. Meanwhile, Michael (Paulo Costanzo) finds old videos of himself when he was a kid and discovers that he was good at baseball. Andrea Anders also stars.
     
  8. Joey and the Dream Girl (Part 2)
    When Donna's (Guest star Kelly Preston) ex-husband calls to reconcile, she is torn between her feelings for Joey (Matt Le Blanc) and her history with her ex-husband. Gina (Drea de Matteo) tells Joey about Donna possibly getting back with her ex when Donna fails to tell Joey on their date. Meanwhile, Alex (Andrea Anders) learns the meaning of "hot girls get stuff for free." Paulo Costanzo and Ben Falcone also star
     
  9. Joey and the Big Audition
    Still hurting over his decision to turn down a lead role in the hit show "Nurses," Joey (Matt Le Blanc) is shocked to find Gina (Drea de Matteo), Michael (Paulo Costanzo) and Alex (Andrea Anders) having a viewing party for the show. Feeling depressed about his situation, Joey goes to see his agent, Bobbie, (Jennifer Coolidge) to help him get his career back on track. Ben Falcone also stars.
     
  10. Joey and the Road Trip
    When one of the celebrity judges drops out of a beauty pagent in Las Vegas, Joey (Matt Le Blanc) is called upon at the last minute to fill his spot. Gina (Drea de Matteo) and Alex (Andrea Anders) decide they want to take a roadtrip with Joey so they decide to kidnap Michael (Paulo Costanzo) from school and force him to join them. While at the casino, Michael reluctantly decides to teach Gina how to play blackjack using his math skills
     
  11. Joey and the Plot Twist
    On JoeyÓs (Matt LeBlanc) first day at his new job on the television series "Deep Powder," he reads the confidential script of an upcoming episode and begins to worry that his character will be killed off. Meanwhile, the Tribbiani clan attempts to recreate a perfect East Coast Christmas in Los Angeles and faces a variety of difficulties, the first being the sunny weather. Also starring Drea de Matteo, Paulo Costanzo and Andrea Anders. Lucy Liu guest stars as a producer on "Deep Powder."
     
  12. Joey and the Taste Test
    While shooting his new show "Deep Powder," Joey starts to fall for his co-star daughter Katie. (Danneel Harris) Lauren (gueat star Lucy Liu) tries to persuade Joey that relationships at work are not a good idea, while coming on to him herself. Meanwhile, Gina agrees to teach Alex how to make her famous lasagna after raving about how wonderful it tastes. Joey and Michael (Paulo Costanzo) are then forced to be judges for a lasagna-making contest between Gina and Alex.
     
  13. Joey and the Premiere
    When Joey is told he can only bring one guest to the premiere of his new series 'Deep Powder,' he must must choose between Gina (Drea de Matteo), Alex (Andrea Anders) and Michael (Paulo Costanzo). He decides the best way to pick his date is to hold a speech competition between the three. After hearing all the speeches, Joey is still unable to decide so he is forced to figure out a way to get more tickets.
     
  14. Joey and the Assistant
    Joey (Matt Le Blanc) discovers that he can hire a personal assistant now that he is a big-time celebrity on a hit TV show and begins the interview process. Michael is frustrated when his "friend" Seth decides to patent an idea by himself even though the y came up with the idea together
     
  15. Joey and the Tonight Show
    Joey (Matt Le Blanc) gets the chance of a lifetime to be on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," when a major movie star cancels her appearance. On his way to the "Tonight Show" Joey becomes increasingly worried he won't make it on time. When a big rig overturns on the freeway, Joey really starts to panic. Drea de Matteo, Jennifer Coolidge, Paulo Costanzo and Andrea Anders also star.
     
  16. Joey and the Valentine's Date
    After Bobbie (Jennifer Coolidge) advises Joey (Matt LeBlanc) to turn on the charm with a magazine reporter, Joey unexpectedly lands a date with the journalist (guest star Dina Waters). Joey is later horrified when he finds out that he has just made plans on the most romantic day of the year - Valentine's Day. Drea de Matteo, Paulo Costanzo, and Andrea Anders also star.
     
  17. Joey and the Wrong Name
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) is asked to present at the Daytime Soap Awards and finds that presenting is harder than it looks. Meanwhile Michael (Paulo Costanzo) tries unsuccessfully to work out at the gym. Also starring Drea de Matteo, Andrea Anders.
     
  18. Joey and the Fancy Sister
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and Gina's (Drea de Matteo) wanna-be-socialite sister Mary Teresa (Christina Ricci) comes to visit and constantly reminds her siblings how wealthy she is with her snobby attitude. Meanwhile, Michael (Paulo Costanzo) is unknowingly being courted by a "hot" girl. Also starring Andrea Anders.
     
  19. Joey and the Neighbor
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) finds himself falling for his new female neighbor, Sarah (guest star Madchen Amick), who turns out to be more than capable of holding her own during their dates. Also starring Drea de Matteo, Paulo Costanzo and Andrea Anders.
     
  20. Joey and the Spying
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) finds himself in a sticky situation when he sees Alex's (Andrea Anders) husband (guest star Matt Letscher) kissing another woman. Also starring Drea de Matteo and Paulo Costanzo.
     
  21. Joey and the Temptation
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) must struggle through a love scene with his ultimate temptation, Carmen Electra (starring as herself), even though he's made an exclusive committment to his girlfriend Sarah (Madchen Amick). Also starring Drea de Matteo, Paulo Costanzo and Jennifer Coolidge.
     
  22. Joey and the Breakup
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) is faced with a crisis when his girlfriend Sara (guest star Madchen Amick) says she loves him and he doesn't respond. Meanwhile, Michael (Paulo Costanzo) and Gina (Drea de Matteo) have brunch with Michael's new girlfriend Lorraine (guest star Deborah Theaker) who is more than Michael described.     Joey (Matt LeBlanc) is faced with the prospect of his girlfriend Sara (Madchen Amick) moving in with him. Meanwhile, Michael (Paulo Costanzo) owes Bobbie (Jennifer Coolidge) big for getting him tickets to a high profile movie premiere and pays heartily. Gina (Drea de Matteo) finally confronts Bobbie about her crazy attraction to Michael. Alex (Andrea Anders) realizes her true attraction for Joey. Then... JOEY LEAVES AN "I LOVE YOU" HANGING -- MADCHEN AMICK GUEST STARS -- Joey (Matt LeBlanc) is faced with a crisis when his girlfriend Sara (guest star Madchen Amick) says she loves him and he doesn't respond.     As the star of an action film, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) over-indulges in his new-found perks and even uses his stuntman (guest star Dan Cortese) to distract angry boyfriends while he romances their girlfriends -- but his antics run afoul of a disgusted crew member (guest star Paula Cale) who has begun dating Michael (Paulo Costanzo). Meanwhile, Alex (Andrea Anders) is confused about her true feelings for Joey, especially when she spies their picture together in a celebrity fan magazine. Drea de Matteo, Jennifer Coolidge and Miguel A. Nunez Jr. also star.
     
  5. Joey and the House
    With his big paycheck from his new movie, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) goes on a buying spree -- much to the chagrin of his sister, Gina (Drea de Matteo). When he finds a house he loves, he must convince the owner (multiple Emmy Award-winning guest star Betty White, "Golden Girls") that he is the right person to own the home but she's looking for a family man with children -- and Joey and Gina attempt to give her what she's looking for. Also starring Paulo Costanzo, Andrea Anders, Miguel Nunez and Jennifer Coolidge.
     
  6. Joey and the ESL
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) meets a beautiful woman who happens to be taking an English as a second language class. To court her, he also enrolls in the class. Meanwhile, Gina (Drea de Matteo) needs to help Bobby (Jennifer Coolidge) find a new client. Also starring Andrea Anders, Paulo Costanzo, Miguel Nunez and guest starring John Larroquette.
     
  7. Joey and the Poker
    In an effort to keep Joey (Matt LeBlanc) away from his attractive new interior designer, Alex (Andrea Anders) tries to teach him Texas Hold 'em. When Joey gets frustrated with losing, she begins to get creative with the rules of the game which make things very interesting when Joey is asked to go on "Celebrity Poker." Also starring Drea de Matteo, Jennifer Coolidge, Paulo Costanzo.
     
  8. Joey and the Sex Tape
    An old girlfriend of Joey's (Matt LeBlanc) is still mad at him for something he did to her years ago. She sends him a tape from his past with embarassing footage and treatens to go public. To appease her, he agrees to apologize on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Guest starring Ellen DeGeneres and starring Drea de Matteo, Jennifer Coolidge, Andrea Anders and Paulo Costanzo.
     
  9. Joey and the Musical
    In order to impress his new girlfriend, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) agrees to direct her grandmother's musical at the Senior Citizen Home. He must turn to his best friend Zach (Miguel Nunez) to help him after everyone realizes that he's not a gifted director.
     
  10. Joey and the Bachelor Thanksgiving
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and Zach (Miguel Nunez) run into trouble when they discover ancient Native American artifacts on Joey's property and mistakenly give them away. Meanwhile, Gina (Drea de Matteo) is trying to have a meaningful family Thanksgiving with Alex (Andrea Anders) and Michael (Paulo Costanzo) but Joey isn't cooperating with her plans
     
  11. Joey and the High School Friend
    Joey's best friend from high school, Jimmy (Adam Goldberg), comes to visit Joey (Matt LeBlanc) after years of not having contact. He reveals a major surprise to Michael (Paulo Costanzo) and Gina (Drea de Matteo) which throws their world out of balance.
     
  12. Joey and the Tijuana Trip
    After Michael (Paulo Costanzo) breaks up with his girlfriend, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and Zach (Miguel Nunez) take him to Tijuana to help him get over it. After a rowdy night, Joey and Zach find themselves in an awkward situation which brings them a little too close for comfort. Also starring Drea de Matteo and Andrea Anders.
     
  13. Joey and the Christmas Party
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) throws a holiday party in his old apartment and has to iron out some bumps with Alex (Andrea Anders). Meanwhile, Bobbie (Jennifer Coolidge) attends the party with her controlling boyfriend who does not deal well with the situation.
     
  14. Joey and the Snowball Fight
    Joey (Matt LeBlanc) begins acting weird with Alex (Andrea Anders) when she sets off on another romance with Dean (Gregory Harrison). Meanwhile, Joey's action figure arrives with some quality control issues. Also starring Drea de Matteo, Paulo Costanzo, Jennifer Coolidge, Miguel Nunez.
