    January 20, 1999: Sex, She Wrote: Abby and Chris sleuth to expose who penned a note about one Capeside couple's night of passion.

    January 27, 1999: Uncharted Waters: On a fishing trip, Pacey reels from his dad's coldness, as Dawson warms up to the errant Mitch (John Wesley Shipp) — and Jack. Meanwhile, Gale interviews the girls for a news piece about teen fads, and kicks off a trend of reconciliations between her feuding subjects.

    February 3, 1999: His Leading Lady: The filming of Dawson's new movie stirs up memories for both the filmmaker and for Joey. Meanwhile, Pacey learns Andie's been taking antianxiety drugs.

    February 10, 1999: To Be or Not to Be...: Jack's private poetry goes public, sparking a debate over his sexuality. And as Pacey targets the teacher who started the mess, Joey tries to beef up her beau's image. Meanwhile, Jen sees Ty's true colors.

    February 17, 1999: That Is the Question: Mr. McPhee (David Dukes) returns amid rampant rumors about Jack's sexuality, which continue to haunt Joey; Pacey targets a cruel teacher; and Ty shocks Jen with his views on gay rights.

    March 3, 1999: Be Careful What You Wish For: A drunken Dawson attacks Pacey, Joey, Jack and his parents at his own surprise birthday party; Ty uses words that hurt to explain his attraction to Jen; and Abby sets her sights on Jack.

    March 10, 1999: Psychic Friends: At Capeside's fair, a shutterbug (Nick Stabile) develops a thing for Joey — and Jack; Dawson's film teacher pans his movie; and Jen helps Grams (Mary Beth Peil) catch the eye of an old chum.

    April 28, 1999: A Perfect Wedding: Only a day after his parole, Joey's dad (Gareth Williams) persuades her and Bessie to cater a wedding, which turns out to be a hectic and emotional day for many in Capeside.

    May 5, 1999: Abby Morgan, Rest in Peace: A sudden death sends Jen into a tailspin, and Andie is dragged along when she's accused of contributing to accident that caused it.

    May 12, 1999: Reunited: Dawson's attempt to wine and dine Joey at a fancy restaurant turns into a three-way collision with his father's date and his mother's "girls' night out" with Jen.

    May 19, 1999: Ch...ch...Changes: As Dawson wrestles with his final film project, he stumbles across an unwelcome discovery about a friend's family. Meanwhile, Pacey learns Andie may have to leave Capeside.

    May 26, 1999: Parental Discretion Advised: Dawson agonizes over his mother's career decision, as well as the repercussions of what he saw at the Ice House. Meanwhile, Pacey and his father (John Finn) come to blows over his poor school performance and his feelings for Andie; and Jen is stunned when Jack urges her to accept Grams' conciliatory invitation to come back home

Season Three

  1. September 29, 1999: Like a Virgin: Dawson lands in a boatload of trouble when he falls under the sexy spell of Eve (Brittany Daniel) and stumbles into a confrontation with Joey over their break up. Meanwhile, Jen tries out for the cheerleading squad with the intention of denouncing the snobbish head cheerleader (Vanessa Dorman) and Mitch becomes the school's new football coach.

    October 6, 1999: Homecoming: Dawson plans a sexcapade with Eve; Pacey wilts when Andie isn't thrilled at his surprise visit; Jack agrees to join the football team on one condition — that Mitch also adds Henry (Michael Pitt). Meanwhile, Jen fashions unorthodox cheers for her squad and Dawson shoots a PR film for the football team's pep rally.

    October 13, 1999: None of the Above: Dawson and his pals cast suspicious eyes at one another when an advance copy of the PSAT procured by Eve goes missing. Meanwhile, Jack feels harassed by his teammates and considers quitting the team and Rob (Niklaus Lang) asks a reluctant Joey out on a date.

    October 20, 1999: Home Movies: Dawson's chance to shine clashes with his dad's when he decides to profile Jack for a TV news story and Mitch opposes it, fearing Dawson is distracting his best player from the big game. Meanwhile, Jen balks when she learns the head cheerleader is being "auctioned off" for charity and considers quitting the squad; and Andie fears the principal knows about her PSAT scam.

    October 27, 1999: Indian Summer: Dawson has a stunning revelation about Eve after he catches her breaking into Grams's; Joey fears Rob has an ulterior motive in taking out Andie; and Jack tries to help Henry get closer to Jen by setting up an "accidental" date.

    November 10, 1999: Secrets and Lies: Jen is in homecoming queen hell when she clashes with a previous titleholder (K Callan) who also happens to be Henry's close friend; Dawson's mom makes an unexpected appearance; and Andie levels a devastating accusation against Rob that puts Joey and Pacey right in the middle of their conflict.

    November 17, 1999: Escape from Witch Island: Eerie happenings surround Dawson, Joey, Jen and Pacey when they get trapped on the allegedly haunted Witch Island, where they plan to shoot a documentary about the island's tragic legend. Meanwhile, Andie spins off onto a power trip as the head of the disciplinary committee and makes an unholy alliance with another classmate to institute a new rule in the school.

    November 24, 1999: Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?: Parent-child angst dominates the Thanksgiving holiday when Jen's mom Helen (Mel Harris) returns for holiday dinner at Grams' and Dawson finally learns the outcome of his parents' separation. Meanwhile, Andie and Jack are disappointed when their dad can't make the holiday meal.

    December 1, 1999: Four to Tango: Jen and Pacey leave behind evidence of yet another unconsummated make-out session when they decide to use Dawson's bedroom; Jack finds an admirer through the Internet; Joey agrees to tutor Pacey in math if he agrees to take dance lessons with her so she can win a scholarship.

    December 15, 1999: First Encounters of the Close Kind: A student film fest and an Ivy League university tour bring Joey, Dawson and Andie to Boston, where a rival filmmaker (Bianca Lawson) trashes Dawson's documentary on "Witch Island." Meanwhile, an overeager Andie tries to snag an unscheduled interview with the dean to press her case for an early admission. Joey learns her tour guide (Robin Dunne) is the opposite of what she expected; and Jack, who's along for the trip, gingerly explores Boston's gay nightlife.

    January 12, 2000: Barefoot at Capefest: Jack finally meets an attractive, available — and interested — guy (Adam Kaufman); Dawson and Nikki (Bianca Lawson) clash over access to the film equipment; a fuming Joey accuses Dawson of having a thing for Nikki. Meanwhile, Jen sees a new and more attractive side to Henry when she runs into him at a rock festival.

    January 19, 2000: A Weekend in the Country: In an effort to jump-start Joey and Bessie's new bed and breakfast, Pacey invites a hard-nosed critic (Carl McIntyre) to review the still-unfinished place, and Mitch and Gale book the honeymoon suite, which upsets Dawson. Meanwhile, Andie starts pressuring Jack to move back home, and Henry informs Jen that he'll be taking her out to dinner.

    January 26, 2000: Northern Lights: Dawson flounders for direction after dropping his film class, and Henry insists upon seeing the school play with Jen after she postpones their dinner date to see Pacey's stage debut. Meanwhile, Pacey panics as opening night approaches, Andie flips when she has to step in for the ailing director and Joey plans on skipping the event for a date with the guy she met during a college tour.

    February 2, 2000: The Valentine's Day Massacre: Henry corrals Jen into a Valentine's Day date, but fails to tell her about the physical risk he took to make it perfect until the consequences hit him. Meanwhile, Andie invites Jack's ex-girlfriend to join them at a wild party but neglects to tell her that Jack is now gay; and Dawson decides to cut loose at the party and ignore Pacey and Joey's constant bickering over him.

    February 9, 2000: Crime and Punishment: Joey is crushed when her school mural is defaced. A furious Pacey hunts down the perpetrator, while Dawson chides Joey for not repairing the damaged painting. Meanwhile, Andie is troubled when Principal Green tells her that her PSAT scores could qualify her for a scholarship.

    March 1, 2000: Cinderella Story: Joey goes to Boston for A.J.'s appearance at a literary event, and gets a surprise when she meets his oldest friend, Morgan (Deborah Kellner), who happens to be a she. Meanwhile, Pacey gets to know the kid (Jonathan Lipnicki) he's supposed to mentor, a smart-mouthed 9-year-old whose attitude is uncomfortably familiar. And Gale's restaurant is still in shambles the week before its opening, prompting Dawson to seek help from an unwelcome source.

    March 5, 2000: Neverland: Pacey is crushed when Joey freaks out over their kiss, so he takes refuge in a guys-only camping expedition with Dawson. Joey opts for a sleepover with Andie and Jen as she tries to figure out her feelings. Meanwhile, Jack's plans for a platonic weekend at home with a gay friend are threatened when he learns his dad won't be leaving town on business after all. And a visit from an old friend reawakens unhealed wounds for Mitch.

    April 26, 2000: Stolen Kisses: Simmering feelings boil over for Pacey and Joey when they are forced to share a bed during a crowded spring-break weekend with Dawson's Aunt Gwen (Julie Bowen). Meanwhile, an old friend's visit spurs Gale to pretend she and Mitch are still married.

    May 3, 2000: The Longest Day: The truth of Pacey and Joey's romance is revealed through a series of "Rashomon"-style flashbacks that tell the story from Pacey's, Joey's, Jen's and Dawson's perspectives. Also, Will (Rodney Scott) asks Andie out on a date; Grams heads for a weekend away, but not before warning Jen to avoid any hanky-panky with Henry.

    May 10, 2000: Show Me Love: Pacey and Dawson's competition during the annual regatta hides an underlying battle for Joey's affections. Meanwhile, Jen reconciles with Henry, and Gale and Mitch's relationship shifts gears.

    May 17, 2000: The Anti-Prom: Everyone agonizes over the junior prom, especially Joey, who decides to go with Dawson; Andie, who doesn't have a date; and Jack, who wants to take Ethan (Adam Kaufman). Dawson decides to organize an anti-prom at the restaurant, where everyone can just be themselves. Meanwhile, Henry and Jen are wrestling with the decision of whether to have sex the night of the prom, and Mitch tells Gale he needs her to define their relationship.

    May 24, 2000: True Love: Joey chooses between Dawson and Pacey as Dawson prepares for his parents' second wedding and Pacey readies to set sail for a three-month stint in the Florida Keys. Meanwhile, Jen refuses to reconcile with Henry before he heads off for eight weeks of football camp until Grams takes radical action that also aims to give Jack a second chance with Ethan

Season Four

  1. October 4, 2000: Coming Home: Joey and Pacey return home to face a barrage of questions about whether they had sex; Pacey's sister Gretchen (Sasha Alexander) abruptly returns from college without a diploma; and Andie scopes out two potential summer flings.

    October 11, 2000: Failing Down: Pacey learns his prospects for graduation are dim unless he retakes three courses he failed the previous year — a fact he can't bring himself to mention to Joey. Meanwhile, Henry wants to take a break from Jen and tries to get Jack to help tell her; Joey gets a waitressing job at the yacht club after pretending to be on friendly terms with a board member; and Gretchen goes house-hunting.

    October 18, 2000: Two Gentlemen of Capeside: Pacey gets his first "A" of the semester, but an assignment with Dawson keeps Joey from celebrating with him on the boat. So Pacey takes Jen for a fun platonic sail — until a storm hits. Meanwhile, Joey asks Dawson why he can't forgive Pacey and Andie prepares for a college interview.

    October 25, 2000: Future Tense: College concerns weigh heavily on Joey's mind as she gets good and bad news about her prospects, then realizes Pacey doesn't have the grades to attend college. Meanwhile, Andie drives Jack crazy over filling out his college applications; Gretchen gets vague about college plans when Gale interviews her for a bartending job; and Drue (Mark Matkevich) throws a fake birthday party for Jen.

    November 1, 2000: A Family Way: Dawson is stunned to learn his fortysomething mother could be pregnant, and an uneasy Joey feels that she and Pacey are headed for sexual intercourse. She shares her concerns with Jen, who advises her to get prepared by going to the free clinic. Meanwhile, Jack's gig as a soccer coach is endangered by an amorous spectator's aggressive advances, forcing him to weigh whether to tell her he's gay.

    November 8, 2000: Great Xpectations: Andie gets a letter from Harvard and the news sends her off to a rave with Jack and an uneasy Jen, who had been resisting pleas from Drue to attend. After his parents deliver equally important news, Dawson joins the party with Gretchen — and Pacey and Joey, who wonder why Dawson's been hanging out with Gretchen, his pre-adolescent crush.

    November 15, 2000: You Had Me at Goodbye: Andie's father (David Dukes) suggests the teen take a six-month trip to Italy as a reward for her academic excellence and to relax before she starts college. Meanwhile, Joey needs a peer recommendation for a college application from the person who knows her best, and she's torn between asking Dawson or Pacey to author it.

    November 22, 2000: The Unusual Suspects: Principal Peskin (Harry Shearer) and Mitch question Dawson, Pacey and Jack after someone puts the senior administrator's boat into the school's swimming pool with the man's dog on board. Meanwhile, Jen agrees to help coach Jack's soccer team as part of her community service.

    November 29, 2000: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: Dawson views some of Mr. Brooks' (Harve Presnell) old movies and lavishes the former filmmaker with praise, only to be rudely dismissed. Gretchen plans a party at the Leery's home. Elsewhere, Jack suspects that Jen has lost interest in filing her college applications.

    December 20, 2000: Self-Reliance: Baby-sitting responsibilities and unexpected guests at the bed-and-breakfast cause stress for Joey the night before a big test at school. Jen and Jack attend a gay teens seminar, and Mr. Brooks agrees to participate in Dawson's documentary about the former filmmaker.

    January 10, 2001: The Tao of Dawson: Dawson decides that the best way to pursue Gretchen is to do nothing at all and let the situation play itself out. Gretchen takes Pacey on a road trip to her former college to retrieve her car, which she loaned to an ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Joey is trapped in a storage room with Drue, who was supposed to spend the weekend with his father in New York.

    January 17, 2001: The Te of Pacey: Joey plans a surprise birthday party for Pacey, who's reluctant to celebrate because of various mishaps that occurred during previous shindigs commemorating his birth. Elsewhere, Gretchen asks Dawson if they can postpone their scheduled first date since they will both be expected to attend Pacey's party.

    January 31, 2001: Hopeless: To get time off from work for a school trip, Joey agrees to her employer's request that she and Pacey accompany Drue on a date with the daughter of an influential yacht-club member. Meanwhile, Dawson and Gretchen go to a dance club with some of her college friends.

    February 7, 2001: A Winter's Tale: Joey and Pacey embark on a ski trip with their classmates, but a winter storm strands the travelers near a small-town lodge — and Drue sets up the sleeping arrangements. Meanwhile, Dawson faces a difficult decision regarding the health care of Mr. Brooks, for which Dawson has the legal responsibility to decide.

    February 14, 2001: Four Stories: Drue fools a chaperone into thinking that Joey and Pacey are already on the bus that will take the ski-trip participants home, and the bus leaves, stranding the couple at a lodge.

    March 28, 2001: Mind Games: Pacey's obvious attempts to get Gretchen out of the house for the night lead his sister to deduce that he and Joey have slept together and they want to spend another night alone. Gretchen then discovers that Dawson's parents have gone away for the weekend, so she suggests they share some cozy quality time.

    April 11, 2001: Admissions: Dawson and Joey find out what fate has in store as they learn whether they were accepted to the colleges of their choice. Also, Jen and Jack try to find a school they can both attend as they sift through college brochures.

    April 18, 2001: Eastern Standard Time: Pacey feels left out when he's the only one at school during Ditch Day at Capeside High. Jen and Joey decide to travel to New York City, where they meet up with Jen's father, while Dawson and Gretchen take a spontaneous trip.

    April 25, 2001: Late: A very pregnant Gale anxiously awaits her baby's arrival, while Joey wonders what the stork may have in store for her when she too realizes that she is late.     May 2, 2001: Promicide: The gang faces problems as they prepare for the prom. Jen and Jack fret over dates, only to end up with escorts neither of them want; Joey and Pacey struggle with relationship issues; and Gretchen stresses over attending the high-school event with Dawson.

    May 9, 2001: Separation Anxiety: Jen finds out that Grams is planning to sell the house to put her through college; Dawson tries to reconnect with Gretchen; Joey and Pacey attend a Worthington freshman party that has Pacey thinking there might be hope for them after all.

    May 16, 2001: The Graduate: Dawson and the gang anticipate their graduation day, but Pacey's temper runs high and his antics might cost him his diploma. Also, Andie comes back from Italy to watch her brother and friends graduate.

    May 23, 2001: Coda: The fifth-season finale depicts Dawson's last night in Capeside before leaving for the summer session of film school. His plans include a trip to the movies with Joey, Jen and Jack. Saying goodbye isn't easy, especially for Joey, who struggles with not wanting to let go of one of her best friends

Season Five

  1. October 10, 2001: The Bostonians: In the fifth-season opener, the gang takes on college life — except for Pacey, who's lying low as he docks the yacht in Boston Harbor after sailing away the summer. Joey is struggling in her writing class at Worthington College as she measures her academic dreams against reality and tries to deal with her separation from Dawson, who's continuing his studies at USC with an internship in Hollywood. Elsewhere, at Boston Bay College, Jack and Jen make their way around campus and search for a frat party to attend, as Jack declares that it's time for Jen to meet a new guy and start a "whirlwind college romance."

    October 17, 2001: The Lost Weekend: Dawson visits Joey in Boston, and all goes well until he gets an unusual message on his answering machine. Meanwhile, Pacey is interested in the restaurant business; and Jen and Jack go to a frat party, where Jen meets a new guy.

    October 24, 2001: Capeside Revisited: Joey learns that Pacey is living in Boston and working at a nearby restaurant. Also in town is Dawson, who's not happy in Los Angeles and is thinking about staying on the East Coast. Meanwhile, Jack gets used to being a Sig Ep brother; and Jen and Charlie take their relationship to a new level.

    October 31, 2001: The Long Goodbye: Tragedy hits home as the Leery household deals with the aftermath of Mitch's car accident. Family and friends gather around to lend support as Dawson tries to come to terms with his last encounter with his dad (John Wesley Shipp). Through it all, Dawson stays strong, maintaining a tight grip on his emotions in order to support his mother and younger sister. Meanwhile, Pacey puts past grudges aside and comes out of hiding on the boat to join the rest of the Capeside gang in comforting the Leery family. As Dawson's friends try to do and say the right things, Dawson begins to realize that bottling up his feelings may do more harm than good.

    November 7, 2001: Use Your Disillusion: Dawson takes Joey up on an offer to visit her for a weekend in Boston. Meanwhile, Jack is surprised when his boyfriend visits unexpectedly and makes Jack choose between spending time with him or the fraternity.

    November 14, 2001: High Anxiety: Dawson suffers anxiety attacks while trying to deal with the death of his father, so he takes a trip to Boston to get away from his troubles. While in town, he goes to the frat house with Jack, gets drunk and ends up hurting Joey's feelings with a booze-fueled comment.

    November 21, 2001: Text, Lies and Videotape: With support from Jen, Dawson decides to see a doctor in Boston about his anxiety attacks. On the college front, Audrey makes an audition tape for Real World Ibiza; Joey works on Prof. Wilder's project; and Pacey cracks a secret at the restaurant.

    November 28, 2001: Hotel New Hampshire: The couples change partners in this eventful episode as Jack invites Joey to his frat formal and Jen joins Dawson for a road trip to New Hampshire. Joey is feeling left out of Dawson's life since he has been spending more time with Jen at their post-therapy ritual, and Jen and Jack are growing apart because of the amount of time Jack spends at the frat house. To get away for a while, Dawson takes Jen with him to a film festival where his documentary is being honored. While the two enjoy the event, they reach a new level in their relationship that could radically alter their friendship.

    December 12, 2001: Four Scary Stories: Jen takes over Charlie's nighttime DJ shift at the campus radio station. Meanwhile, Audrey prepares for a Halloween party; and Joey decides to spend the night reading in the library.

    December 19, 2001: Appetite for Destruction: Pacey decides to throw a large dinner party at Grams' house to reunite all of his high-school friends, but Joey is in for a surprise when she walks in on a kiss between Dawson and Jen.

    January 16, 2002: Something Wild: Fall break is in full swing as Joey, Pacey and Audrey celebrate their accomplishments at a Boston bar; Dawson takes Jen back to Capeside to tell Gale they're dating again.

    January 23, 2002: Sleeping Arrangements: Jen and Dawson adjust to their new living arrangements in Grams' house, while Pacey finds out that he has an opportunity to sail around the Greek Islands. Back at the frat house, Jack finds out that one of the brothers didn't want to room with him.

    January 30, 2002: Something Wilder: Jen buys Dawson back-to-school presents to start off his first day of film school in Boston. Meanwhile, Joey gets too close for comfort to Professor Wilder, and Jack learns that he is on academic probation.

    February 6, 2002: Guerilla Filmmaking: Dawson starts to direct a film and lets Audrey play the leading lady. Meanwhile, Audrey tries to fight her growing attraction to Pacey. In the frat world, Jack makes a tough decision about being a Sigma Epsilon brother.

    February 13, 2002: Downtown Crossing: Joey learns that urban life can be decidedly different—and more dangerous—than life in Capeside. The feisty freshman decides to pay a nighttime visit to Prof. Wilder, so she stops at an ATM to get money for the train, unaware that she's being watched. As she heads for the train station, she's approached by a stranger (Samuel Ball), who asks if she can spare some cash. Joey refuses and the man goes away. But he soon returns and he's no longer asking for a handout: He's demanding her cash and belongings. The situation ends up taking an unexpected turn, one that could radically change Joey's perspective on life.

    February 20, 2002: In a Lonely Place: Dawson and Joey see a film at Dawson's school and Joey notices that Prof. Wilder is there—and he isn't alone. Meanwhile, Jen and Audrey go to a rock concert where Jen is supposed to interview the band members.

    April 3, 2002: Highway to Hell: Joey lands her first gig as the lead singer of Charlie's band and Pacey and Audrey decide to take the road trip with her. Meanwhile, Dawson's sister has her first birthday and the rest of the gang heads home to Capeside for the party.

    April 10, 2002: Cigarette Burns: Dawson finishes his first flick since starting film school. At the screening, Joey sits with Charlie but tries to deny her attraction to the die-hard ladies' man. Meanwhile, Audrey and Pacey continue to explore their undefined relationship.

    April 17, 2002: 100 Light Years from Home: The gang decides to go to Audrey's beach house for spring break, but they find that some romantic entanglements may ruin the party atmosphere. Meanwhile, Dawson travels to New York to meet with an agent about his newest film.

    April 24, 2002: Separate Ways (Worlds Apart): Pacey learns that he has a new boss (Sherilyn Fenn) at the restaurant after he returns from a few days of vacation. Meanwhile, Charlie gets the chance to romance Joey and Dawson tries to get an agent to represent him for his next film.

    May 1, 2002: After Hours: Pacey's attraction to his new boss, Alex, gets him in hot water with Audrey when she catches them together. Meanwhile, Dawson has his own fling with a older woman; and the rest of the gang crams for finals.

    May 8, 2002: The Abby: The gang packs up to go home to Capeside for the summer, and Audrey tries to persuade Joey to bring her along. Meanwhile, Dawson gets an offer to go to Los Angeles; Pacey may lose his job at the restaurant; and Jen and Jack decide to take a trip together.

    May 15, 2002: Swan Song: The Capeside crowd wraps up their fifth season as they contemplate vacation adventures. The gang tries to decide where their paths will lead this summer as they seek to broaden their horizons. But when they bump into each other at the airport, they're still up in the air about their itineraries. Dawson muses over a flight to Los Angeles, while Audrey struggles with the thought of going home without a farewell word with Pacey. Meanwhile, Jen and Jack rethink their travel plans when Jack finds a possible love interest, and Joey sees her summer prospects improve when she discovers she has a valid passport.

Season Six

  1. October 2, 2002: The Kids Are Alright; The Song Remains the Same: Dawson and Joey's relationship heats up when he makes a surprise trip to Boston in this two-hour episode. In the sixth-season opener, the on-again, off-again couple reunite after a summer apart, picking up where their kiss left off at the end of last season. But their bliss is threatened when Dawson gets a call from another woman. Meanwhile, Audrey and Pacey return from L.A. and Pacey interviews for a job that could affect their relationship. Back at Boston Bay College, Jen is surprised to find Grams is in her art-history class, and she gets bitten by the love bug when she bumps into a cute peer counselor. MTV's Jack Osbourne appears in a cameo.

    October 9, 2002: The Importance of Not Being Too Earnest: Joey tries to write a heartfelt e-mail to Dawson and accidentally forwards it to the entire Worthington campus. Meanwhile, Jack frets about his crush on Prof. Freeman (Sebastian Spence), which he fears the professor may be aware of; and Pacey struggles with his new job.

    October 16, 2002: Instant Karma!: Dawson finds himself in an awkward situation when his ex-girlfriend (Bianca Kajlich) bumps into Joey. Meanwhile, Audrey feels she's playing second fiddle to Pacey's new career, and their relationship is further strained when she catches him in a lie.

    October 23, 2002: The Imposters: Dawson's quick thinking on the movie set saves the film when a producer arrives and tries to fire the lead actress and close down production. Meanwhile, Audrey is thrilled when Emma asks her to sing in her punk band, and Jack confronts Professor Freeman about an unfair grade.

    October 30, 2002: Living Dead Girl: Dawson arranges a Halloween party on the movie set, which is supposedly haunted by the ghost of a legendary film actress. Attending the costume blowout together can't disguise the turmoil between Pacey and Audrey, while Joey plays baby-sitter for Professor Heston's daughter.

    November 6, 2002: Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell: Audrey gets tipsy at the bar before her band performs, leading her friends to suspect she might have a drinking problem. Meanwhile, Pacey takes a trip to New Orleans with his coworkers, and Joey and Eddie (Oliver Hudson) go on a date.

    November 13, 2002: Spiderwebs: Dawson scores tickets for the gang to a No Doubt concert, and while they are at the show a secret about Audrey and CJ is revealed. Elsewhere, Joey and Eddie go on a date, and Dawson and Natasha try to rekindle the romance in their relationship.

    November 20, 2002: Everything Put Together Falls Apart: Dawson is intimidated when a movie star (Eddie Cahill) comes to the set and takes an interest in Natasha. Meanwhile, Joey is distracted by Eddie as she studies for a final exam; and Pacey brings Emma to an office party.

    December 11, 2002: Merry Mayhem: The gang heads home for the holidays and gathers at Dawson's house for Christmas dinner. But as the celebration gets under way, Audrey gets out of hand and threatens to ruin the Yuletide festivities. Meanwhile, Joey and Eddie have a spat about where to spend Christmas; and Dawson confronts Natasha about her night out with another guy.

    January 15, 2003: Day Out of Days: Joey, who hasn't spoken to Eddie since Christmas, eagerly awaits a phone call from him. Meanwhile, Jen trains to be a peer counselor; Pacey wonders whether being a stockbroker is the right career path; and Audrey returns to L.A. to party with guest star Jack Osbourne.

    January 22, 2003: All the Right Moves: Audrey returns to Boston and tries to persuade Emma to let her back in the band. At the office, Pacey gets invited to an exclusive party that could lead to a promotion; and Joey visits Eddie at his parents' house.

    January 29, 2003: Rock Bottom: Audrey's drinking problem spirals out of control, and she avoids going into rehab by missing her flight to California. Eddie tells Joey his plans for the future; and Dawson begins working as a director in L.A.

    February 5, 2003: Clean and Sober: Dawson bumps into a famous producer while visiting Audrey in rehab. Back in Boston, Emma makes a surprising announcement during Pacey's party to celebrate his purchase of a new entertainment center.

    February 12, 2003: Castaways: Joey goes to a business party with Pacey, and on their way home they make a stop at a store that unexpectedly closes while they're still inside. They're forced to adapt as the momentary pit stop becomes an unpleasant overnight ordeal.

    March 26, 2003: That Was Then: Dawson and Pacey find themselves back in Capeside as Dawson is invited to speak in front of film students and Pacey rushes to the hospital bedside of an ailing family member. In other developments, Joey considers rekindling an old flame and fends off the advances of a young admirer.

    April 2, 2003: Sex and Violence: To make ends meet during spring break, Joey takes a temp job as Pacey's assistant. Elsewhere, Jen and C.J. encounter intimacy issues; and Heather coaches Dawson on pitching his movie to the studio.

    April 9, 2003: Love Bites: The four longtime friends from Capeside find themselves at unexpected turning points in their lives. Jen is shocked to hear that Grams has broken up with her latest suitor. When she tries to talk with her grandmother about what happened, the older woman abruptly curtails any discussion of her personal affairs. Only after intercepting a suspicious phone call does Jen learn why Grams is reluctant to discuss her feelings. Elsewhere, Joey, reeling from a surprise visit from Eddie, chaperones Harley's school dance with enamored (and oblivious) escort Pacey; and Dawson moves back home, where he gets a surprising reception.

    April 16, 2003: Lovelines: Jen presides over a Q&A session with Loveline hosts Adam Corolla and Drew Pinsky. Also: Audrey returns after her stint in rehab; C.J. is blindsided by a decision Jen makes; Eddie suspects that he and Joey have intimacy issues; Jack inadvertently snubs David.

    April 23, 2003: Catch-22: During finals week, Joey crams for Professor Hetson's exam and ponders a proposal made by Eddie. Elsewhere, Jack attempts to smooth things out with David; Pacey gets to know Sadia; and Audrey tries to negotiate her way out of summer school.

    April 30, 2003: Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road: Long-time friends face off and a fractured family has a chance to reunite in this revealing episode. As a guilt-ridden Pacey struggles to find a way to tell Dawson that his savings were lost in a bad investment deal, the enthusiastic auteur re-creates his high-school bedroom and maxes out three credit cards buying equipment for his film. When Pacey finally delivers the bad news, money matters prove to be just the tip of the iceberg between them. Meanwhile, Grams receives a surprise visit from her daughter, Helen (Mimi Rogers), and judging by the cool welcome Grams offers, it's obvious that Helen and Jen aren't the only distant mother-daughter duo in the family.

    May 7, 2003: Joey Potter and Capeside Redemption: Ms. Potter proves just how strong the bonds of friendship can be as she plays fairy godmother in this sentimental episode. After losing his savings in a bad investment deal, Dawson shelves his lifelong dream of becoming a filmmaker and works around the clock to pay off his credit-card debt. But Joey is undeterred by the setback and rallies the troops to get his movie back on track. She calls on friends to assume acting and production roles, and pays a visit to a wallowing Pacey, who becomes inspired to employ his own considerable charms to solicit funds for the fledgling film. In other events, Jen, Jack and Grams say their goodbyes before heading to New York City.

    May 14, 2003: All Good Things; Must Come to an End: The four longtime friends are all grown-up and ready to move on in this sentimental and surprising two-hour series finale, which was co-scripted by show creator Kevin Williamson. Set five years in the future, Dawson, Joey, Pacey and Jen return to Capeside to attend a wedding. Each one of them has carved out a place in life: Dawson works and lives in Los Angeles; Joey is a successful big-city book editor; Pacey owns the new Ice House; and Jen manages an art gallery in New York City. But the joyous occasion that draws them back together also brings complications and sorrow when unresolved issues resurface and someone reveals a heartbreaking secret.
